Tim has over 18 years’ experience in mid-market mergers and acquisition (M&A) at Boxington and, previously, at M&A advisory houses Catalyst, Cavendish, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC). He has led, originated, and been involved in more than 50 human capital services and business services sector deals, making him one of the market’s most successful and experienced deal-doers. Through his deal experience, Tim has also developed particular expertise and reputation in international cross-border transactions.
In 2010, recognising an unfulfilled gap in the market, Tim founded Boxington as the first M&A advisory house specialising in Human Capital services internationally, which it remains.
As well as managing Boxington, Tim is an active deal transactor, trusted advisor, and networker for Boxington’s clients amongst C-suite decision-makers in the Human Capital services sector across the UK, Europe, Asia-Pac, USA, and other regions.
Before beginning his M&A career, Tim qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC in its London capital markets division. He holds an MBA from Cranfield and studied languages at Durham University.
Tim is a judge on a number of Human Capital sector awards including the RI Asia Awards, the Recruiter’s Investing for Talent Awards and its Awards for Excellence. He’s also a regular writer and speaker on M&A in the Human Capital services sector.
